Infact, it goes a step further in customer care, by way of a value-added service of an Annual Maintenance Contract,
apart from the warranty period of the vehicles. There is a provision for preventive maintenance, where training is
rendered to the drivers and other personnel, as a part of the Samal Auto India dealership. Free service check-up
camps twice a year and demo-drives are some of the other promotional activities undertaken towards sustaining
customer relations. As a policy, a complete PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) of the vehicles is conducted at the
workshop, prior to delivery. The Samal Auto India workshop is fully equipped with a dust free, covered space,
qualified manager/supervisors, skilled technical staff and modern tools and equipment to function in a modern
and scientific manner and offer the best possible service to a customer.
Spares:
At Samal Auto India, it is mandatory that the Spare Parts Department be, at all times, well-stocked with
components of any model of TDV. Any vehicle that is faced with a maintenance problem may approach the organization
for prompt repair work. The department is well organised with proper bins and a computerised inventory management
and billing system. The location of Samal Auto India, facilitates the process of procuring spare parts, as the
Regional Ware House of Tata Motors is also situated at Adityapur. The company also sells spare parts through annual
contract with frontline manufacturer. Moreover, there are retail outlets at Baripada and Balesore. A provision for
warranty on spare parts as per the Tata Motors norms further guarantees customer satisfaction
