Samal Auto (India) Pvt.Ltd, the flagship unit of Samal Group of Companies was formed in Nov,2006 with the sole objective to sale & provide service support in Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment of TATA MOTORS. The Dealership has been awarded basing on past performance and strong association with TATA MOTORS by its promoters. MR.Gangadhar Samal, the M.D in the face of the Company. The Company became operational in May, 2007.
Net Working:
The Company was initially authorized to operate in four districts of Orissa i.e.Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,Balasore & Bhadrak,having its Registered Office at Keonjhar.Later on Anugul District has been added into the net working. At present the Company in having 3S (Sales, Service & Spares) facility at Keonjhar,Barbil & Anugul & 1S (only Sales outlet)at Baripada,Balasore & Bhadrak.Construction activity is in full swing at Balasore for one more 3S and renovation work in going on at Anugul for a very modernized showroom with well equipped workshop. The Company is having a fully automated and mechanized workshop at Keonjhar.The workshop to attend accidental vehicles at Keonjhar is the number one in Eastern Region of India in terms of size and automation. All the establishments of the Company are fully computerized and automated and the Company is at the verge of getting ISO: 9001 certification.
Man Power:
The Company is managed by well experienced & trained professionals in Sales, Finance, Service, Administration &Spares division. The day to day affairs of the co. is managed by Chief Executive Officer. The Company possess highly trained and skilled workforce in its various workshops. The total size of man power is more than 200.
Performance:
Within a span of three years the turnover of the Company has exceeded Rs 400cr.The growth of the Company is invariably determined not just by its strategy but on how it responds to the challenges it encounters. Over the years, Samal Auto has successfully countered several challenges that have come its way with innovative responses and continuous improvement which have enabled it to remain stable and even convert some of these challenges into opportunities .It is this culture of endurance that has accorded Samal Auto the insight and focus to deal with the current economic environment.
